Given the horrible vision shared by Caitlin and I, it seems an inevitability that both of our children will one day be wearing glasses. Hopefully they won’t have to, but frankly, we’re not keeping our fingers crossed. Really, though, that has nothing to do with our enjoyment of putting glasses on our kids, and photographing them while wearing them. I think you can see with your own eyes that such an activity offers its own obvious rewards. It’s like playing with a Mr. Potatohead that struggles against your intentions, but you still outfit them to your liking anyway.
